As a specialist Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Intensive Support) you’ll support individuals and families living in refuge, community homes and supported accommodation, who require additional and intensive support due to the multiple disadvantage they face. You’ll provide a tailored, person-centred support package to help our customers achieve their goals and live a life free from abuse.

**Job requirements**
- Work with customers to identify their individual support needs and provide a tailored, person-centred support package.
- Work as part of a multi-agency response to meet the identified needs of customers. This might include setting up, providing reports for or attending meetings such as MARAC and CYP conferences.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the local services available for people with multiple needs.
- Support customers and advocate for them so they can move on into settled accommodation, or return home safely, empowered with the skills, confidence and support required to live independently.

**What we’re looking for**
- 12 months experience supporting adults with complex needs, such as relationship abuse and mental health.
- Experience handling personal data and working in line with GDPR.
- A genuine understanding of people in abusive relationships.
- Up to date with current issues and laws within the domestic abuse sector, welfare reform and homelessness.
- Good ICT, communication and time management skills.
- Someone with a full UK driving license and use of own vehicle for work.
- DBS check.
