This is a dual role, operating both from a customer and employer focus.
- To work independently but also as part of a regional and national team. This will be done by building relationships with local employers, or national employers with a local footprint identifying and securing opportunities for our learners and customers whichmay be vacancies with guaranteed interviews, sustainable jobs, traineeships, or apprenticeships as well as being aware and taking a consultative approach to the wider PeoplePlus proposition e.g. People Solutions and IRF
- Representing PeoplePlus to its mission and trademarks is a vital part of the role
- Selling our services to organisations, generating leads, ensuring we are meeting the recruitment needs of our learners and customers and this is in line with the local labourmarket needs to ensure needs and demands are met and it fulfils the local employer strategies with our funders and stakeholders
- High quality customer engagement and recruitment to meet Centre referral requirements, through a variety of marketing, learnerand community engagement activity.
- To support and encourage learners to learn and personally and professionally grow through appropriate Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG), throughout their learning journey.
- To build high quality/yield referral sources through networking and strong relationships.
- To maintain contact and dialogue with learner's post programme to track destination and offer opportunities for further learning as appropriate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generation of leads through cold calling, networking and harnessing wider relationships through PeoplePlus.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and engaging to generate confidence in those who it will be important to influence. A consultative, confident approach to sales.
- Rigour and urgency around the follow up of potential leads to ensuring maximisation.
- Identifies and engages employers to build a strong working relationship to meet contractual and PeoplePlus targets.
- Apprenticeships and placement opportunities are secured to meet require job performance targets.
- Develop and understanding of the wider PeoplePlus proposition and ability to bring to life using a consultative approach when with employers.
- Ability to engage employers face to face and over the phone.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the regional labour market and employers and be aware of national labour and skills market trends and developments, providing accurate information to colleagues.
- Work closely with local teams and team to ensure an aligned sales strategy is in place.
- Ensure the CRM system or method of recording employer activity is accurate and kept fully up to date.
- Ability to territory map and understand employer landscape.
- Ensure all appropriate data collation is carried out and entered onto appropriate systems and required by the business and submit expressions of interest documentation in the agreed process in a timely manner.
- Submit all weekly, monthly reports as agreed with Line Manager.
- Adhere to all internal and external policies and procedures.
- Monitor employers and/or placements to ensure adherence to PeoplePlus's Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies by completing a pre-vet placement for customers.
- Provide learners with interview techniques in preparation for interview with employers and support CV development
- Capture and record accurate and timely customer information throughout all learning related documents including, but not limited to, learning starter points and distance travelled
- Accurate and timely completion of all mandated documentation ensuring it meets funding eligibility and audit compliance criteria
- Develop and own careers advice and IAG activity throughout the learning journey, to enable the provision of expert advice, guidance and signposting in line with current customer capability and future aspiration
- Collaborate with Centre colleagues to ensure there is a warm handover of learners ready to start their accredited learning and to provide additional support and IAG where learners are identified as at risk of leaving their program of learning early.
- Collaborate with Career Coaches across Skills to create a culture which engenders a quality focused and consistent approach to customer attraction, retention and growth
- Proactively engage and collaborate with wider business stakeholders to maximise referral and progression opportunities
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all learners, celebrating diversity and ensuring the implementation of equal opportunities
- Collaboratively manage the behaviour of the learners, promoting and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment
- Seek out and maintain CPD to provide best in class expertise and service levels
- Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours
