The Voice team's goal is to build world class voice products that empower retail associates by making in-store communication easier and more intuitive. The Product Owner will play a vital part in the delivery of key company initiatives which the Voice team are responsible for, whilst working in a multi-disciplined team including Software Developers, Product, Delivery and QA. **Requirements for Product Owner** - Prior experience as a Product Owner or a similar role in B2B product management or delivery. - Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle. - Proficiency with agile methodologies and related tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lean Canvas). - A good level of technical understanding, with knowledge of the software development lifecycle and web technologies. - Comfortable acting as a representative of the Voice team in collaborating with internal and external software development teams and technology partners. - Experienced in the use of analytic tools. - Comfortable working within a startup/scale up SME environment, coupled with a strong bias for action and an appreciation for adaptability and pragmatism. - You may have a curious/inquisitive nature and will be guided by insights and data, whilst remaining open to learning and asking questions when needed. **"Nice to have" skills for Product Owner** - UX experience including experience of customer journey mapping. - Beginner-level SQL skills (selects and joins). - Familiarity with IVR or Telephony (VoIP), ideally Asterisk. - A high level understanding of the Azure cloud platform. A level of familiarity with speech-to-text-technology. **Responsibilities as Product Owner** - Manage the quarterly planning process and product roadmap by working closely with the Voice Tech Lead and Voice Product Manager. - Manage a structured development approach by breaking down work into initiatives, epics and user stories. - Collaborate in setting Sprint Goals and other tasks. - Manage the progress of work including re-prioritising where required. - Refining and prioritising backlog, including ongoing feature requests. - Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria. - Refine our agile methodology based on results to improve our efficiency and to maintain a sustainable work pace. - Document customer journeys for new and existing products including opportunities for UX improvements. - Manage the process to ensure the team's documentation is updated, accurate and accessible to the rest of the business.
