As an Account Director, you will be responsible for driving growth in our business partnerships, establishing, and maintaining professional business relationships, expedite HealthTrust Europe's contract participation, and align HealthTrust Europe service-line solutions for the benefit of assigned members.
You will also serve as a trusted advisor, engaging with member executives on a regular basis for the purpose of reducing costs, improving quality, promoting standardisation and eliminating waste. You will assure all business partners (members and suppliers) have an outstanding experience with HealthTrust Europe such that they would recommend and promote our services to others.
**DUTIES (included, but not limited to)**:
**Onboarding and Implementation**:
- Help orient new members to HealthTrust systems (Electronic contract catalogue, InSight, member website, etc.)
- Work with new members and vendor partners to facilitate contract access and conversions.
- Assist with membership rostering.
**Planning**:
- Develop member-specific strategic business plans- including SWOT analysis, leadership engagement, contract penetration/compliance, sales, new business development, etc.
- Complete territory planning with sales teams to build service-line and new business pipelines.
- Prepare agendas and related data analytics for regular meetings and quarterly business reviews.
**Analytics**:
- Utilise supplier reported data and member spend data (via InSight or distributors) to identify compliance, conversion and tier max opportunities.
- Request custom reports from Analytics team for market share analysis, tier maximization, and contract compliance.
- Review price discrepancy reports for opportunity to obtain credits.
- Reformat data for member-facing presentation.
**Sales and Account Management**:
- Implement member-specific strategic business plans, driving successful results to goals. Complete regular updates of related activities in Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
- Build and strengthens customer relationships with proactive communications and timely follow up.
- Identify and share contract opportunities and facilitate timely contract activation.
- Serve as the Member Services liaison to resolve issues with suppliers, distributors, service-line partners, and other as needed.
- Update members on key program initiatives and strategic opportunities.
- Schedule and complete quarterly business reviews to include realized value, rebates and admin fees; plus, a collaborative forward-focused discussion of next opportunities.
- Participate in member meetings and committees as requested.
- Operate within established budgets, acting as a good steward of company resources.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Ability to show resilience while displaying a high level of professionalism
- Experience in local government procurement
- Experience in senior stakeholder/account management within the public sector
- Track record of delivering and exceeding targets in a difficult environment with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models and identify customer requirements
- Evidence of impactful negotiation and influencing skills to deliver outcomes
- Align internal and external resources to achieve objectives
- Demonstrate consistently good attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a matrix environment
- Understand and interprets complex instructions, proposals, and contract language
- Listens and separates ancillary information from the primary content being communicated, asks appropriate questions to clarify and confirm understanding
- Demonstrates excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills
This high profile and professional position will be field based, with travel expected to visit customers and suppliers.
