We are recruiting a Dispatch Assistant Administrator to work for a key client based in Stourport near Kidderminster.
The main objective of Dispatch Assistant Administrator will be to the role will be to
to join our Dispatch team at our Stourport site. Working within a busy dispatch environment, this role is fast paced and varied. You will be invoicing and arranging timely dispatch of goods to our customers. Working closely with the Administrator and the Supervisor,you will ensure the efficient dispatch of goods in a timely manner and provide all of the associated administrative support for the smooth operation of the department. You may be required to assist with packing and dispatch during busy periods.
Essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Obtaining quotes and booking transport
- Liaising with customers for specific delivery requirements
- Booking courier services
- Checking parts
- Packing small parcels
- Dispatching using Sage 200
- Creating Commercial Invoices using Sage 200
- Greeting drivers and ensuring correct paperwork is signed
- Advising customers once a job has been dispatched
- General data input (geared motor sheets, packing lists etc)
- Chasing jobs to ensure dispatch on the correct date
- The role also includes a number of other smaller administrative and coordination tasks

Skills and experience required:

- Experience of working within a factory setting would be an advantage
- Previous administration experience is a 'must'
- IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
- Sage 200 experience advantageous
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- A good energy and enthusiasm
