Run the night operation for the site, which circa 30 direct reports

Night shift runs between 1730 - 0600 so it will be your responsibility to ensure processes are in place for the hours you aren't on site

**Client Details**

The Warehouse Manager will be working for a leading national retail business operating in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector operating in Staffordshire.

**Description**
- As Nights Manager and part of the leadership team you must ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operation
- Sets and communicates the nightly warehouse plan in line with available resource
- Monitors progress of the plan ensuring high standards of performance are achieved
- Be active in preparing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and team to ensure execution of prepared plan
- Ensure the warehouse checklist are completed at the end of shift to measure all task have been completed on time and to a high standard
- Feeds back performance through regular briefings
- Communicates effectively and liaises with other departments to achieve high standards of customer service are achieved
- Follows all company procedures and processes relating to HR and Health and Safety legislation
- Develops the team identifying training gaps and performance issues and instigating a plan to improve
- Manage return to works, disciplinaries

**Profile**

Warehouse Manager Nights
- A background in managing within warehousing and multi temeprature is a big desirable
- Proven track record in driving and overseeing team performance
- Able to take initiative and make decisions under pressure
- Have managed in excess of 20 staff previously
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- MUST be able to work a permanent NIGHT shift
- Commutable to Stafford

- Salary £40,00
- 42 hour working week between 1740 - 0600 and Sunday - Monday (typically Monday - Friday)
