We are currently looking for a Facilities Coordinator

In a nutshell, you will be busy.

Coordinating and leading on buildings and premises related issues for all building users. Managing the maintenance and upkeep of the building and premises, and where applicable liaising with external service providers and coordinating internal activities across all areas of the business.

This role will be the point of contact for building and premises related issues for all building users.

There will be the need for occasional travel to our Chatteris facility. Travel costs will be reimbursed.

On a daily basis you will be;
- Upkeeping the legislative compliance of the premises
- Maintaining site service contracts and where applicable look to reduce costs
- Monitoring the day to day building upkeep as well as anticipating long and short term improvements and maintenance schedules
- Participating in regular continuous reviews to improve efficiencies
- Conducting regular security and vulnerability assessments and implement measures to reduce risk.
- Managing onsite parking
- Maintaining the upkeep of the vending contracts.
- Carrying out regular Legionella Risk Assessments
- Overseeing Waste management control

What you can already do;
- Have a general understanding and willingness to learn further legislative compliance for the building and premises (e.g. Legionella control, Fire Safety, LOLER, PUWER etc.)
- Upkeep maintenance contracts for Fire Safety systems and internal testing and maintenance
- Conduct Site security and Vulnerability assessments and implement measures to reduce risk
- A confident communicator and able to liaise with 3rd party suppliers and maintain positive productive relationships.
