We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic PR Manager to join our growing Brand Marketing team on a permanent, full-time basis (39.5 hours per week). This new role is based in our York Head Office at Northminster Business Park, Upper Poppleton where freeparking available on site. We offer flexible start and end times and hybrid working 2 days per week from home (once fully inducted).
**Role Overview of our PR Manager**:
Working with the Head of Brand Marketing and the SEO team, you will be the driving force behind our PR strategy, growing digital presence and brand awareness via innovative campaigns and strong relationships.
As a retail business we move at pace so we are looking for someone who remains calm under pressure and can efficiently switch between differing priorities.

- Trade, Planning and Merchandising
- SEO
- Retail
**Core responsibilities of our PR Manager**:
- Build and maintain external relationships to effectively promote brand, seeking high level placements in print, broadcast and online media
- Manage stylist and influencer relationships, ensuring product placement on authoritative figures
- Use external tracking platform to monitor brand activity, using data to inform future planning
- End to end event management to support seasonal launches and mini moments
- Day-to-day management of press office and fielding of enquiries
- Build and maintain a strategic PR calendar, planning content that will engage journalists and ensure coverage
- Create and implement innovative external campaigns, ensuring communications are creative and insight-driven, working closely with our internal SEO team to ensure content is keyword driven
- Create coverage that grows our digital presence and gains a steady and continued source of quality backlinks from high quality, authoritative websites
- Creation and distribution of press releases
**Our ideal PR Manager will have**:
- Minimum of 4 years PR experience
- Experience in digital PR, with an understanding of its impact on SEO
- An interest in fashion retail and all things brand
- Strong media contact database across print, digital/online, influencers and stylists
- The ability to work across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment
- Be a pioneer of new ideas with a thirst for innovation
- Experience in devising and implementing strategic plans
- Strong industry, competitor and cultural awareness
- Confident communication style and proficiency in writing
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to work under pressure and efficiently prioritise workload
- Is self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently
- Is able to influence at all levels and present with confidence
**Pay & Benefits for our PR Manager**:
**Salary**: circa £38,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience, plus:
- Flexible/Hybrid Working - core hours are 9.30am-3.30pm - 2 days per week working from home once full induction is completed
