E&i Supervisor

Opportunity for an E&I Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Supervisor to join an international sustainable manufacturing / heavy process engineering organisation in Kent. Permanent. Immediate start option. Excellent development prospects.

E&I Supervisor Functions:

- Key focus on front line maintenance, help coordinate the engineering department’s daily and weekly prioritisation, scheduling, and preparations of workload.
- Strong focus on reliability and preventative maintenance to ensure problems are resolved first time right.
- Responsible for all day-to-day electrical, instrumentational and some control systems maintenance activities associated with the paper machine, Stock Prep plant, the winder and its transport system.
- Provide the same E&I&C support to the ancillary plant and equipment necessary for the paper machine to function reliably including the WTP, CHP, warehouses and world class workshops.
- Respond to breakdowns that have an immediate effect on plant safety, environmental release or plant performance.
- Work quickly towards the resolution of any immediate or developing problems.
- To work closely with the Planner, Electrical Engineer and mechanical team colleagues to understand, assess and help coordinate the necessary resources and timings to complete the planned workloads.
- Substantial heavy industry based experience
- Supervisory experience
