**New opportunity not to be missed** We are looking for Part Time **Support Worker - (carers)** to join our growing teams based in **Clayton-Le-Woods, Chorley and Leyland**. In return we are offering a competitive hourly rate of £10.00 - £10.25 per hour, dependant on qualifications. Contracts are available for between 10 to 30 hours per week working days and evenings. You will be required to work some hours every other weekend. Weekend only contracts are also available.

Dalesview has been established for over 30 years and holds an Investors in People gold award. We provide specialist supported living and residential services for adults with severe learning and physical disabilities.

**What will you be responsible for as our Support Worker - (carers)?**
- Providing effective care and support to adult residents with profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities
- Assisting in the care of all service users through the delivery of person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans/ risk assessments. This will include all aspects of moving and handling, personal care, eating and drinking
- Assisting in enabling service users to live their chosen lifestyle including accessing the local community and participating in leisure activities
- Training is provided with opportunity for future progression.

**What makes you our ideal Support Worker - (carers)?**
- Caring, hardworking, reliable and flexible approach
- Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable, but not essential
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is also desirable or be willing to work towards the relevant QCF qualification. Wage per hour without NVQ 3- £9.75/ with NVQ 3 - £10.00
- Full driving licence is preferable
