Toolmaker

We have an opportunity in our **Engineering Tool Room**for a**Toolmaker**. You may be qualified or experienced in another Engineering discipline such as CNC Machining and have milling and turning skills or maybe grinding and latheCNC skills and are looking for a new role?

Our Tool Makers have an important role in our Manufacturing Plant and help keep production running, through maintenance and the making of “one of a kind” parts for the factory. You will work in a small team all dedicated to engineering and the engineeringprocess within manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**
- Support for the extrusion tooling strategic plan.
- Production of ‘one of a kind’ extrusion tools & components.
- Delivery to required timescales & deadlines.
- Conversion of CAD to CAM to support tool manufacture.
- Support to; Extrusion Technicians, Project Engineers & Designers as required.
- Ownership/responsibility for complete tool unit, manufacture, finishing & assembly.

**Qualifications**
- Tool making or equivalent apprenticeship
- CNC milling, manual turning, grinding, wire erosion & spark erosion
- Benchwork & assembly skills
- CAD/CAM capabilities
- Basic IT skills
