Management Accountant

An ambitious Accountant is required for a successful and profitable Castleford based business.With offices within close proximity of the M62 and accessible from Wakefield, Pontefract and Leeds, you will join this company as it expands its product baseand streamlines processes to gear up for future growth.This is a great time for an ambitious accountant to join a company where there is real opportunity for career progression.
Key duties are:
- Ensure all bank transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner
- Ensure all Invoice Finance reconciliations are prepared and submitted to HSBC on time
- Carry out Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Prepare accruals and prepayments data as part of month end process
- Assist with providing year end data to auditors
- Assist with monthly stock valuations
- Assist with year end stock count
- Support development of other members of Finance Team
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for other members of Finance Team
- Participate in ingoing process review and improvements
- Support the Finance Director in all aspects of financial control
The company offer an attractive salary, rewarded with increases as your role progresses.Due to the nature of the organisation the role is based full time on site, Monday to Friday 08.30 - 5.00 and has full study support.The business has free on-siteparking, as well as a train station within walking distance.
