My client are a well-recognised **manufacturer of water boosting and pump solutions and are**currently needing a Warehouse Operative to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for the gathering of components to Works Orders and feeding components through to the Assembly Department, whilst maintaining the accuracy and stock rotation of raw materials and preventing damages.
Ideally, the Warehouse Operative will have experience within a warehouse/dispatch environment within a manufacturing/engineering environment with manufacturing occurring on-site and have the ability to work methodically understanding the companies’ departmentalprocedures as well as a valid/previous Forklift License.
**Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative**:

- Maintaining the accuracy and ‘First In, First Out (FIFO)’ stock rotation of raw materials, whilst ensuring they remain undamaged.
- Collecting kits of raw materials in accordance with Works Order documentation, ahead of their requirement by the Assembly Department.
- Line feeding raw materials to the Assembly Department in a timely fashion ready to be assembled.
- Contributing to keeping the department clean, tidy and safe.

**Personal Skills as a Warehouse Operative**:

- Methodical - able to work to Company departmental procedures (ISO9001:2000).
- Excellent communication skills (cross-departmental).
- The ability to use engineering measurement equipment.
- Understanding of drawings, procedures and work instructions.
- The ability to use a Fork Lift Truck and Walkie Stacker.
