**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house, working close with the management team, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of hospitality while supervising staff and coordinating with kitchen operations.
**Duties**
- Supervise and train front of house staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily operations, including overseeing food preparation and service to guarantee adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist in the scheduling of staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Collaborate with kitchen personnel to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house, enhancing overall service efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels for food production supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Promote a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and supporting staff development.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
