Our Platforms team are responsible for all infrastructure components within the Platforms Products ensuring that these are managed including Lifecycle, Capacity, Monitoring, Cost & Licensing, Innovation, and Security. We cover a broad range of technology acrossour international team of 14 which means that the day to day varies, and we have a variety of continuous improvement projects that you can get involved in across a variety of infrastructure/technology.
We’re focusing on Microsoft Azure and M365 as well as some of our other key technologies so initially you will prioritise daily and project tasks that focus on improving these processes. Responsibilities will include:
Providing 3rd line support across multiple business units in line with agreed SLA's
Troubleshooting and resolving incidents associated with multiple technologies
Developing and producing IT documentation/procedures
investigate and manage complex changes to infrastructure/systems in line with ITIL and change control processes
Improve customer service and satisfaction while reducing risk and keeping operational costs to minimum levels

To be successful we're looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Experience of on prem servers ideally experience of transitioning to cloud from on prem
Active Directory experience
Windows Server experience

Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking,free drink facilities and a great team culture.
Shift
As we support global teams, we have a shift rotation in place. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30. You will be required to support the shift patterns which means approx. 1 in 10 weeks you will work 15:30 - 12:00 midnight and a middle shiftwhich can be either 9:30 - 18:00 or 13:30 - 22:00. You will also support a 7 day on call rotation every 1 in 10-14 weeks. Both the shift and on call weeks have allowances or premiums for the weeks you work.
