We have an exciting vacancy available for an experienced Risk & Governance Executive. This is an opportunity for someone looking to develop into a financial services risk or regulatory role and to build a profile within a large financial services firm.

The main purpose of this role will be to work closely with the Head of Risk & Governance, specifically within corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and third party procurement.

**ROLE**:
Management of the organizations' corporate governance including the creation of committee packs / minutes, updating terms of reference, and production of related management information.
Maintenance and monitoring of the compliance with regulatory requirements, assisting the Head of Risk & Governance with required regulatory reporting, and the implementation of regulatory change.
Management, and monitoring of compliance with UK Group Standards and Policy Framework within the organization.
Management and monitoring of the Risk Management Framework, including the management and effective resolution of risk incidents.
Management of related due diligence processes, distribution network (agency) management, including compliance
with the relevant third-party distribution and remuneration policies.

**ATTRIBUTES**:
2 to 3 years' experience in an FCA regulated organisation (preferably general insurance)
Experience of working alongside legal and procurement
Engagement with third party contracts / relationships
Experience of working alongside a financial services or risk focussed environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport and successful relationships
Aptitude for legal and regulatory work

35 hours a week
