Overview

We are a long-established, family-run well reputed business in West Drayton, Greater London. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team.

- This position is offered on a full-time working contract. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (with occasional overtime as required)

What You’ll Be Doing as a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working in the workshop.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service to customers.

What We’re Looking For:

- NVQ Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle, Car Mechanic Repair or equivalent.
- Time-served mechanics with strong references will also be considered.
- MOT certification is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- A valid driving licence is a must.
- Must have own tools.

**Experience**:

- Vehicle Technician/Mechanic: 2 years (required)
- MOT certification (preferred)
