We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Home Care Assistant** to join our amazing **AWARD WINNING** team at **Bridgewater Home Care** in the **Wigan** area to work shift patters such as mornings, lunch shifts, tea shifts and bed shifts.

**Pay rate - Between £12.82 to £14.00 per hour** depending on the Clients needs. We also pay mileage and travel time for your calls in between Clients. Our pay rate is including holiday pay.

**We also pay DOUBLE pay on all Bank Holidays.**

**Location**: We support our vulnerable clients in all area's of Standish, Shevington Hindley and Ashton in Makerfield. We will aim to allocate you to people who meet your personality criteria and ideally as close to your home location as possible.

**Examples of shift patterns are**:
**Ashton in Makerfield** 08.00am - 15.00pm / 15.00pm - 22.00pm

**Shevington, Standish and Pemberton,** flexible between the hours 06.45am - 11.30pm         

**Ashton in Makerfield, Hindley and Leigh** flexible between the hours of 07.00am - 10.00pm

**Who are we?**

The Bridgewater story began after personal experiences of care for our own family. It was through this difficult time that we experienced numerous challenges that we did not expect. Finding a high quality, trustworthy and credible home care provider for our loved one proved more difficult than it should be. **Key responsibilities**:

- We deliver award winning care to people within their own home.
- Companionship visits.
- Spending valuable time with a client
- Meetings and catch ups at your Bridgewater office with the rest of your team
- Supporting clients with household duties and light housekeeping
- Chaperoning clients to appointments, to do their weekly shop or to get out in the local community
- Providing personal hygiene care, where needed
- Being there as a caring friend to provide emotional support
- Ensuring clients are safe and comfortable, living well in the comfort of their home
- Supporting clients with their nutrition, hydration and overall well-being

- Your own car.
- Able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
- Please note - people do NOT need experience in care for this role. We are very much interested in your values as a person and we provide excellent training for all staff.
