Logistics and Sales Assistant

Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 9-5

**Salary**: Dependent on Experience

Based at: Isleham, Cambridgeshire

About the Logistics & Sales Assistant Role:
Our Logistics and Sales Assistant will work in both the office and the warehouse, pick, packing and shipping domestic and international orders. The shipping of the international order will involve preparing customs documentation for over thirty countries with all necessary training provided. They will also accept and process inwards deliveries, allocating these to stock or to customer orders. We are looking for someone with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic, who takes pride in doing a good job. Main Duties:

- _Processing customer orders using Sage and Salesforce company software_
- _Raising purchase order and liaising with suppliers_
- _Packing and shipping orders both domestic and overseas and resolving any potential problems that arise_
- _Preparing the required customs documentation for both exporting customer orders and importing supplier purchase orders_
- _Helping to manage the warehouse and stock_

**Requirements**:

- _Exceptional attention to detail both numerically and in written language._
- _Ability to demonstrate organisational and prioritisation skills._
- _Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great telephone manner when speaking with customers._
- _Confident and assertive whilst remaining approachable and helpful._
- _IT competency specifically with Outlook, Word and Excel._
- _Strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a good job._
- _Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment without crumbling under pressure._
- _A knowledge of Sage 50Cloud would be useful, but full training is still given._

Starting salary: £21,000 - £26,000 (depending on prior experience)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ely: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

As the business is based in Isleham (you will need transport) and as it grows so will your job role and responsibilities according to the skills you will develop overtime and your abilities. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience from over areas of the business.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
