We are recruiting for Support Workers in the Melksham area on full-time basis.Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
Whether you have worked in healthcare, mental health, autism, with behaviours of distress or maybe you have a background in retail, cleaning and coaching, this could be the career for you. Dimensions recruit against values and not previous experience.
As a valued support worker, you’ll be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. We are looking for ambitious individuals of a caring nature to work for an award winning company where we promote independence in a supportive environment.
You would have the opportunity to work with and support an amazing person. This person loves to socialise, enjoys activities such as hydro, visiting garden centres, and day trips out to different places. Whilst this person is not able to communicate verbally she is wonderfully expressive and demonstrative. She is also an animal lover and loves contact with them. This is a chance for you to make a real difference in this person's life in a support relationship, so we would love to hear from you

The Role will involve
- Helping this person to live the individual life they want
- Helping this person to learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Supporting this person with their medication
- Supporting with some personal care
- Encouraging, supporting and working with this person to help them to be involved in and enjoy what they love doing
