**Job Title: Senior Actuary - Longevity Risk**

**Location: London (Hybrid)**

**The Role**

In the role you will take the lead on various BAU activities and projects to ensure the accurate forecast of the demographic behaviour of the Group's insured lives and lives in the Group's target market, with particular focus on longevity assumptions.

This is a newly created role for an experienced qualified actuary to support the Head of Longevity Risk.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the production of regular demographic risk experience analyses (both internal and external data sources) and support the reporting of the key results for management review.
- Lead the calibration and documentation of the longevity risk model as an effective basis for risk quantification and management and provide support in its development.
- Support the development, regular review and documentation of all demographic risk bases.
- Develop and maintain the data, processes and systems used by the Longevity and Demographic Risk team (LDR), including the appropriate quality assurance, controls and documentation.
- Oversee the implementation of changes to demographic risk bases

**Key Skills**
- Fully qualified Actuary with a good level of PQE experience
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability and willingness to manage analysts in the team
- Clear understanding of risk management and Solvency II framework
- Understanding of the industry and the Group's target markets
