**CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- To support the Senior Buyer with procurement-related tasks
- To place and track purchase orders with approved suppliers
- Planning, monitoring, and maintaining suitable inventory levels for
Production
- Ensuring products are purchased at the right time, to specification and at a good price
- Negotiating with vendors and building positive, long-term relationships
- Researching new suppliers and making recommendations to the Senior Buyer
- Compiling reports on important departmental statistics
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Purchase Orders o Supplier creation - following approval and sign off by Senior Buyer o PO Creation - to meet the demands of internal customers o PO Maintenance - requesting supplier updates and informing internal customers of changes
- MRP o MRP review and PO creation
- Sourcing & Tenders o Supplier identification and engagement o Requests for quotation o Contract/Order placement
- BOM o Part code creation
- BOM maintenance
- Reporting o Monthly KPIs o Purchase Order Management o Any other departmental data as required

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
