Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Assist with food preparation when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
**Skills**:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred
