Along with the medical education and communications companies Solaris Health and Vivacity, RJW & partners forms the health care specialist part of the Group.

Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join the RJW team in this remote based role. Senior Consultants are our core ‘engine’ for project delivery and you’ll be responsible for owning the project lifecycle from planning through delivery and completion. The role will involve sometimes working only with a Director, but on bigger projects there will be collaboration with a Consultant or Analyst.

**Key responsibilities include**:

**Project Management**
- Independently manage the day-to-day project activity, defining tasks and timings.
- Own the project plan and project profitability, delegating resources at all levels
- Lead day to day interaction with the client on logistics, progress etc.
- Direct secondary research and task allocation.
- Liaise with discussion partners and external resources as appropriate.

**Secondary research**
- Supervises or when necessary conducts research, develops reports describing the results of the secondary research:

- Provide research into whatever areas are appropriate to initiate, deliver and finalise projects. This might include research into epidemiology, burden of disease, pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement, previous payer decision-making etc
- Prepare internal reports
- Ensure all content is appropriately referenced

**Development of written or presentation materials.**
- Full documents or sections for inclusion into value dossiers or reimbursement dossiers / HTA submissions
- Other project related material such as landscapes, briefing material to support primary research

**Primary research**
- Draft project material (discussion pre-reads and discussion guides)
- Lead the compliance processes and liaise with client to gain their timely approval.
- Lead the recruitment of relevant stakeholders for research
- Conduct payer and clinician discussions
- Summarises findings/insights, when relevant with support from the project team.

**Adboards and workshops**
- When necessary, take an active role in organising and facilitating Advisory Boards, expert group meetings and client workshops.
- When needed, lead the recruitment of experts and payers
- Develop agendas for and facilitate client internal meetings/workshops.
- Develops reports with conclusions and recommendations from the meetings

**Business development**
- While projects are ongoing, build client networks and look for opportunities for follow-on business.
- Develop proposals under supervision of a director.

**Desirable knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Experience leading on strategic content and structure of deliverables, confidently leading client interactions.
- Ability to communicate and defend your ideas and approach.
- Ability to define strategic recommendations and handle difficult client questions.
- Understanding of health economics and outcomes research, e.g. cost-effectiveness analysis, budget impact models
- Understanding of market access and reimbursement process within Europe and ideally countries outside Europe including e.g. US and Canada
- Ability to become familiar quickly with new topics, therapeutic areas etc
- Ability to manage time and deadlines, strong organisation skills
