Skanska is one of the UK’s leading construction companies. We are seeking an Accountant to ensure an efficient standardised process is in place to enable governance, reporting and accuracy of financial information channelled through an excellent servicedelivery to the wider Business Unit. Responsible for supporting the BU wide initiative to manage and control S&A costs

**Key responsibilities of this role**:

- Posting of weekly and monthly payroll costs
- Group invoice posting for GMC & IT fee
- Prepare and input standard journals to general ledger
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance
- Maintain the finance delegated authority matrix
- Accruals of monthly PSA cost and completion of annual PSA return
- Review provisions, both at OU, EF and BU level
- Determine allocation of payroll file and posting, and review of group payroll recs and control accounts
- CVR preparation of S&A including cost accruals for EFs
- Delivery of the detailed responsibilities as listed in the finance taxonomy

**We’re looking for**:

- Accountancy professional qualification - CIMA/ACCA
- ERP system knowledge, Oracle Fusion preferable
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of financial and management accounting practices
- Detailed and analytical
- Customer focused
