As a Healthcare Assistant at Apple Tree Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in welcoming customers, assisting them in a kind, friendly, and helpful manner to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for:

- Assisting customers with their health-related queries and advising on ailments (training provided if necessary).
- Handling prescriptions—taking them in and giving them out with care and accuracy.
- Maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism at all times.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures and contributing to their development and updates.
- Reporting any errors promptly.
- Accurately processing orders and ensuring cost-effective purchasing and good stock control.
- Promoting and delivering national health campaigns by engaging customers in tailored, informative conversations.
- Completing any additional learning required for pharmacy services.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- High standard of English and communication skills.
- Good level of Maths.
- Strong organisational skills, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team and carry out all tasks to ensure excellent customer care.
- Compliance with confidentiality standards.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail or customer service.

**Working Hours**:

- Part-time: Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 - 18:00 with one hour break.
- The applicant must be flexible to provide holiday cover.
