The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements. They play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products by conducting inspections and audits throughout the production process. Naturally, the Quality Inspector is required to highlight any non-conformance and take appropriate action as per the quality manual.

The Quality Inspector works closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure that PPAP elements are completed correctly and on time. Their ability to provide clear, data driven feedback is very important and enables the business to effectively introduce new parts to production and implement improvements to current processes.

**Duties**
- Provide accurate measurement support where and when required.
- Conduct inspection of first and last offs.
- Conduct regular patrol inspections in all areas. Inclusive of dimensional and welding testing.
- Verify jigs and templates in line with the calibration system procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience working within a similar role in a engineering manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with measuring arms (e.g. Faro), CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), and general handheld equipment (e.g. vernier, tape rule, bevel box).
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings. Knowledge of GD&T.

Working knowledge of PCDMIS is highly desirable. Official training at HEXAGON will be arranged for those that come with working knowledge of other software..

Pay: £33,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
