CNC Miller

gap personnel are recruiting for a CNC Miller on a permanent basis for our client based in Rayleigh.

Shifts;
- Variety include, 0800-1600, hours between 0600/1400/1400-2200 & night shifts.
- Pay - £27,000-£35,000, Overtime is paid at 1.5 hourly rate after 40 hours;
Main Duties include;
- Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines.
- Interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
- Fit appropriate tools to active machines.
- Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories accurately.
- Adjust cutting speeds and tolerance levels as needed.
- Monitor workflows to meet technical and quality standards.
- Operate various industrial machinery including hydraulic presses, guillotines, polishers, grinders, and borers.
- Prepare reports and provide updates as required.

**Requirements**:

- Ensure artwork and job instructions meet process requirements.
- Work to meet deadlines and customer targets.
- Maintain machinery and systems for optimal production.
- Produce high-quality products according to departmental specifications.
- Identify and report development opportunities.
- Analyse root causes and implement problem-solving initiatives.
