Bird & Blend was set up & is run by Krisi & Mike, who met whilst studying Politics (of all things) at university. Building Bird & Blend from scratch while staying true to their ethos & values has been Krisi & Mike’s passion for over 10 years.

From the early days of packing tea in their bedroom & attending markets, to now, with an awesome team, multiple retail stores & a thriving international online store, Bird & Blend is leading the way in tea innovation in the UK.

Of course, we want to welcome as many people as possible into our Magical World of Tea but fundamentally it’s what we care about other than great tea that makes us magical.

We are now looking for a team member to join our team on a temporary basis, for a minimum of **24 hours (3 days) per week**, plus holiday cover when needed.

**What does a Team Member do?**

This role is about more than just packing boxes as we really care about our customers and our people. The ideal team member will find the opportunity to join a friendly, growing independent business incredibly exciting and motivating and will be excited about jumping straight in. Full training will be given for this role but possessing the following traits will all be essential: efficiency, competitiveness, organisation, cleanliness & very high standards.

Normal Operational hours are between 8.30am and 5pm, Sunday

**What are the responsibilities?**
- Pick & pack customer orders efficiently whilst offering the highest level of personal customer experience as possible. We love making sure our customers have a great day
- Organising packing stations, keeping them fully stocked, tidy and ready for the next day.
- Working to the set deadlines whilst maintaining our high quality expectations.
- Drinking TEA-licious cuppas.
- General assistance across the departments for tasks like stocking up shelves, keeping the department clean, tidy and safe.
- Creating outstanding unboxing experiences that make our customers smile.
- Assisting in the wider Warehouse and Production departments when required.
