**Duties**:
- Manage the procurement of all goods and services.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and general supply base.
- Manage supplier at fault issues efficiently.
- Negotiate the best value and commercial terms on purchasing agreements.
- Use of ERP system for maintaining trade agreement cost prices.
- Prepare and present reports for management.
- Develop procurement policy, processes, and strategies.
Criteria
- 3 years' senior procurement experience i.e., Purchasing Manager with responsibility for sourcing suppliers, negotiating & analysing costs and terms & conditions of supplier contracts.
- Min HNC/HND in Business or Finance or similar.
- Familiar with contracts law & codes of practice relevant to purchasing.
- Experience of drawing up tender contracts
- CIPS accredited.
- Strong Communication skills / Negotiation skills, Influencing skills
- Competent in MS Office
- Flexibility in hours, Mobility, Time keeping
- Able to travel to and from work areas as required.
- Flexible approach to work, overtime when required
Salary will depend on background - £40-45k per annum
