A Preparation Operator is a food handler responsible for preparing ingredients in their different formats ready for production. This role is Monday to Friday, alternating 6-2/2-10.

**What's the role about?**
Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will be based, primarily, within the cookhouse. You will be responsible for processing food ingredients to an agreed standard of quality and hygiene during the shift. All tasks will be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient, and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.
The role also requires the safe use of both Counterbalance and Pedestrian Electric Hand trucks to move ingredients required for production, training will be provided if required.

- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to seamlessly adapt to business requirements to ensure we Make it Happen.
- Have a high level of integrity who will maintain high standards.
- Demonstrate a consistent and high performance in Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
- Has an understanding of GMP requirements and demonstrates an ability to consistently adhere to these.
- Be confident and competent in accurately in operating machinery and completing paperwork.
- Demonstrates a willingness to Raise the Bar, by seeking opportunities for improvement of our processes.
- Have good communication skills and the ability work collaboratively with the Team, the Team Leader and key Stakeholders.
