We are currently recruiting for a perm role
- Industrialisation Department Administrator based in Pontyclun
Contract: 12 Month Contract (Maternity Cover)
Shifts: 37 hours per week on a day shift of 08:00-16:30 (Mon-Thurs.) 08:00-13:00 (Friday)
**Salary**: £25K
**Position Overview**
To provide administrative support to the New Product Development department, assisting in ensuring the smooth introduction and first production of new products.
**Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities**
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, the commercial team.
- Input data into X3, including Bills of Material and material costs.
- Develop product barcode labels and manage the customer approval process.
**- New product sample collection process**
- Management of standards for new components
- Create purchase orders for trial components and office stationery requirements
- Provide general administrative support for the Industrialisation Department
- Support and participate in cross functional training within the Industrialisation department to ensure flexibility across the team as directed by the Head of Industrialisation.
- Assist in the seamless introduction of products, as directed by the PM.
**Qualifications and Experience - Essential**
- Good standard of general education.
- G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, grades A*-C (or equivalent).
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
- Understanding of supply chain and associated lead times.
- Experience of liaising in-house and externally with people at all levels.
**Qualifications and Experience - Desirable**
- Knowledge of X3, in particular with reference to creating component and raw material codes and Bills of Materials.
- Experience of working in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.
