Ocean Import Clerk required. Our client is a well-established company that provides global freight forwarding, warehousing, logistics & customs clearance solutions. Due to their ongoing success, profitable business wins and growth in the freight industry, our client now requires an experienced Ocean Freight Import Clerk to join their dynamic and fast - growing operations team based in the Sunbury on Thames office.

**Ocean Import Clerk - Position Overview**
- Completing Import / Export process from start to finish
- Generating invoices to customers
- Booking freight with shipping lines
- Customs Clearance
- Billing and accounts queries
- Completing and documenting details of goods being imported / exported.
- Provide regular updates on shipments
- Establish and maintain client relationships.
- Arranging collections / quotations / negotiating
- Liaising with suppliers / other offices
- Ensure all company policies and legislations are being adhered too.

**Ocean Import Clerk - Position Requirements**
- Minimum of 1 year Sea/ Ocean Freight Forwarding experience
- Customs Clearance Experience
- A good understanding of documentation for sea freight movements
- Good customer service & client liaison skills
- Great product knowledge within Freight Forwarding
- A strong team leader capable of working as an individual or in a team environment.

**Ocean Import Clerk - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £25,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on Experience)
- Monday to Friday 8:30am - 17:30pm. (1 hour break)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays.
