Estates Administrator

Our client, a well-known Public Sector organisation based in Clydebank, require an Estates Administrator on a temporary basis for approximately 8 weeks. Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Pay rate for the position is £11.10 per hour.
**A Basic Disclosure certificate issued in the last 12 months will be required for this role.**
**Main purpose of role**:
To deliver an effective Estates Administration service as first point of contact for staff, contractors, customers and visitors.
**Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:
- Receive and process telephone requests for Estates jobs and service requests
- Deal with internal and external telephone request or enquiries
- Operate and monitor the facilities/estates software system providing customer feedback on reported defects
- Report any defects to relevant on and off site maintenance staff
- Raise purchase orders
- Provide monitoring information/weekly performance reports to senior management
- Prioritise and forward emergency jobs
- Complete staff payroll input
- Collate daily statistical data on job logging reports
- Maintain stationery stock levels
- Distribute incoming mail and delivery outgoing mail to the mailroom
- General admin tasks eg letters, memos spreadsheets etc
- Provide reception cover if requires
**Key Skills and Requirements**:
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of full range of administration tasks
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload & ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
