**Food and Beverage Assistant**

Location: Grange Hotel, Station Square, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, LA11 6EJ

Your Role:

- To welcome & greet each guest as they enter.
- To ensure each guest is served with in a timely manner.
- To ensure food and drinks ordered are delivered in a timely manner.
- To maintain the high standards of cleanliness.
- To provide and promote a welcoming, friendly, personal and professional service.
- To ensure all guest expectations are reached and always exceeded.
- Open and close areas following correct procedure forms.
- To always promote the restaurant / bar and the hotel standards
- To gain guest feedback for the restaurant / bar and the hotel and feed back to your manager
- To assist guests enter the restaurant, carrying their drinks where possible.
- To monitor the quality of food offered
- To control the security of the hotel and Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence.
- Support your colleagues and assist coaching new starters through their probation periods.
- Maintain and striving to improve standards of service.
- Maintaining a fast and effective service
- Monitoring and keeping a close relationship with the kitchen to ensure guests receive their food in timely manner.
- To be able to professionally take a Food & Drinks order from guests
