**Meet Our Client**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a 17-year-old male living in the Cannock area. He enjoys watching TV and has an extensive DVD collection, including 80s cartoons, Balamory, and Big Cook, Little Cook. He communicates his needs using Makaton and a communication aid, and he loves singing and tapping to support his communication.

We’re looking for caring, reliable individuals who can provide consistent, person-centred support. As a valued member of his care team, you’ll work both day and night shifts. During the day, your responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting with moving and handling, and administering medication. You will be expected to monitor him throughout the night and reposition him for comfort every 2-3 hours.

**Please note**: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

**What You’ll Need**
- 3 months’ care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
- Clear communication skills
- Essential pet friendly *Essential experience with children with limited verbal communication
