We are seeking a well-motivated, adaptable individual to work within a team of 9 hard-working, friendly nursing staff in a busy and demanding practice.

As a Phlebotomist you will be working under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols. You will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients as a result of a referral from a GP, advanced practitioner or practice nurse.

You must have venepuncture training and a competencies certificate. Please let us know of any primary care and/or venepuncture experience and SystmOne experience.

We work in a purpose-built Surgery in the centre of South Molton. The practice covers a list size of 12,500 patients, which is managed by a team of 8 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, a Clinical Pharmacist, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Specialist Paramedics, a team of nurses & HCAs, 29 support staff and the Practice Manager; Maria Hosegood.

The practice working hours are from 8.00am to 8.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 8.00am to 6.30pm from Wednesday to Friday with occasional weekend working. Your hours of work will be 20 hours a week; 4 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £10.20 per hour
