Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Department: Operations

Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Contract: Full Time

Working Hours: 39 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Location: East Kilbride Factory (On-Site)

Overtime: Payable at standard hourly rate for all hours worked

Bonus: Eligible for the company’s profit-sharing bonus scheme

Pension: Employer will match 5% employee contribution.

Sick Pay: Eligible to join Company Sick Pay scheme after probation

Holidays: 32 days per year

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Coordinator. You should have previous experience working in a similar role, be energetic, & motivated to work on your own initiative or as part of the team. The role is to assist in providing the production team with a full and complete inventory of parts, at specified quality, at a competitive price, without disruption to the company’s production schedule and in line with company business plans and budgets.

To be considered for this role you should have:

- Experience working in supply chain, or a similar role.
- Experience working in an Engineering or Manufacturing organisation.
- Experience working using ERP systems.
- Experience in understanding engineering drawings would be an advantage.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven Track Record of Cost Savings and vendor performance improvement.

The main duties of this position are the following:

- Help to provide Production and Spares departments with all parts required on-time and within budget to ensure we meet our customers requirements.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure we receive high quality parts at the best possible price within the required timeframe.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions to the company’s supply chain.
- Raise purchase orders for the business.
- Expedite suppliers for outstanding purchase orders.
- Ensure all price and quantity discrepancies are reviewed and corrected in a timely manner.
- Generate reports and KPI’s for various stakeholders.
- Assist in developing programmes to monitor supplier performance.
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers.
- Attend trade shows and make site visits to suppliers, to ensure a high-level expertise is maintained.
- Assist in the transition and implementation of a new ERP system into the business.
- Participate, engage and promote change via continuous improvement program teams.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with key individual stakeholders including management, QHSE department and production team.
- Attend production meetings to give an update on parts that have yet to be delivered.

Pay: £37,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
