The fostering service has been on a journey of development and improvement and the Fostering Leadership Team is ambitious for and committed to continually improving what the fostering service offers to everyone involved with it.
As part of the plan for continuous improvement it is important that we focus on the way the service improves and maintains its quality systems, processes, and practice.
To move this area of development from where it is now to where the service aspires to be in the future it has been decided to invest in three Advanced Social Work Practitioner posts.
These posts will work across services working closely with the Registered Managers and reporting to one of our Fostering Operations Managers:
We are looking for Advanced Social Worker Practitioners to cover the following:
London, East and North of England.
The role is Home Based with extensive travel to the services.

- Improved outcomes for children, young people, and families.
- Foster Carer development and retention.
- Staff, recruitment, development, and retention.
- Improved evidence and reporting of the services achievements and strengths.
These are new roles which will give an exciting opportunity for those appointed to shape and develop the way the work required will be undertaken.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate they:
- Are committed to quality improvement and development in all areas of the way we provide services.
- Have the vision, energy and ambition to work as part of a team dedicated to bring about change.
- Have experience in working as a Senior Practitioner, Team Manager or above.
- Have Worked with a wide range of professionals and foster carers
