A great opportunity to join a leading accountancy firm as they look to appoint an Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to their business advisory team at their Newcastle office.
Joining this well regarded and established accountancy firm we are seeking an experienced Manager who would relish the opportunity to lead and develop a team. You will get to enjoy working with an interesting and diverse number of SME businesses across thenorth east of England.
You will be responsible for the timely delivery across the team of financial statutory accounts each month. This will include department work planning and the completion of more complex accounts yourself and the review and sign off of those prepared by yourteam. You will be on hand to lend training and support to the team both technically and with their own personal development including appraisals.
Your role is client facing and you will enjoy developing relationships and being on hand to provide advice and support from an accounting perspective.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and driven Accountant, hungry to lead a team and enthusiastic to work with the local SME market. Continued on-the-job training is promoted as part of the firms culture and you will be encouraged to advance your career.Preference leans towards a qualified Accountant, either ACA or ACCA but those qualified by experience will also be considered. Applicants must have current UK experience from an accountancy firm to be considered.
