**Job description** Heirs & Graces Private Day Nursery provides the highest standard of nursery care and education in our setting.We have been accredited with the NDNA "Quality Counts" at platinum level. We provide an environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others. We are pleased to announce that we are currently looking for a Nursery practitioner with minimum Level 2 childcare qualification. Our nursery is a busy and fun setting with lots of creativity and has a team that is dedicated to the care of children. We are looking for an individual to provide a hands-on, fun, creative and an innovative environment for children. **The ideal applicant**: - Must be at least Level 3 qualified although Level 2 with experience will be considered - An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families - Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding - Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies. - Managing and maintaining administration requirements **Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following**: - Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. - Observe, support and extend children learning. - Plan appropriately for children using the new EYFS framework. - Maintain accurate and effective children’s records. - Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members. - Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion. - Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Employee discount - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday School type: - Day nursery Ability to commute/relocate: - St Helens: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Certificate of Higher Education (preferred) **Experience**: - Childcare: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Childcare: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Childcare qualification (preferred) Work Location: In person
