CNC Machinist

One of the leading manufacturers of construction equipment worldwide, JCB, is looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their site in Uttoxeter.

**The starting rate is £11.35/hour, rising to £12.16/hour after 12 working weeks.**

**Overtime is paid at time and a half.**

**Shift allowances are paid in addition to hourly rate, where applicable.**

Operation/Setting of CNC Machines, and working to tight tolerances. All machine work will be completed according to written JCB Standard Operating Procedures.

**You will be familiar with the following**:

- Understand how to load/unload components into fixtures correctly.
- Working to standard operating procedures.
- Have awareness of implications if not loaded correctly into fixtures.
- Ability and understanding of the use and maintenance of gauges and measuring equipment required to be used.
- Hard /electronic micrometers, spirit levels,
- DTIs and surface finish gauges.
- Correct use of hand tools that are required to be used and the maintenance of hand tools
