Static Security Guard

Location: Coalville
- Shift: 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off - Nights only (overtime available)
- Contracted Hours: 41 hrs pw
- Employee Status: Permanent/ Full time

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.

Duties of a Security Officer will include:

- Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure
- Manage the parking
- Complete daily logs, noting all appropriate activity
- Produce accurate reports as and when required
- Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of client's premises
- Be an effective ambassador for Samsic Security
- Responding to Customer Premises Alarm Activations
- Access and egress
- Conducting Patrols of various premises
- Responding to Emergency Calls Received
- testing of various machines and site equipment

Essential Requirements:

- Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
- Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Excellent customer care skills
- Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
- Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Demonstrates good observation skills
- Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns

In order to work for Samsic you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

- Have a current SIA Licence (DS or SG) CCTV desirable
- Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
- Have a Full UK Driving License
