**The position is full time, permanent, with a salary range of £35k-£40k.**

**Optimum** **RX Lens Specialists**are one of the fastest growing independent manufacturers of spectacle lenses in the country, we work with opticians all over the UK providing specialist lenses with outstanding customer service. Due to our recent significant growth we are recruiting for a **Finance Business Partner** with a start date in early 2025.

**Main responsibilities of the role**:

- Key member of the Management Team, support to daily meetings and monthly reviews
- Preparation of Monthly & Annual Mangement Accounts and Business Reporting Pack
- Budget reviews with Key budget holders
- Full Balance Sheet Reconciliations, ensuring that key areas are reviewed with Managers and processes are streamlined to aid speed and accuracy
- Management of the annual stocktaking process
- Support to the budgeting and forecasting process
- Support to product Margin Analysis and reporting daily and monthly cash management, including support to debt recovery and management of supplier payment runs
- Cash flow forecasting on a 12 month rolling basis
- Monthly Payroll processing for submission to 3rd party payroll provider
- Management of any staff queries
- Administration of the Company Pension Scheme
- Prepare and post credit card statements
- Quarterly VAT returns including management of the deferment account
- Support to the annual Insurance renewal process
- Support to annual audit and year-end queries
- Support to the development of the finance packages to enable continuous improvement for growth
- Supervision of Assistant Accountant - supporting with development and training
- Take ultimate responsibility for the purchase Ledger and postings within it
- Drive efficiencies across the department and wider business in order to improve both financial awareness and performance

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Sage line 50 or similar finance package experience
- Excel skills, to include ability to do lookups, pivot tables
- AAT Level 4 or CIMA part qualified or studying for professional finance qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills
- Some exposure to payroll
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a fast pace and deliver results timely and accurately
- Able to work as part of a team both within finance and across functions
- Experience in a fast growth manufacturing environment preferred
