**Job Summary**:
We have an _**exciting**_ opportunity for a fully trained and qualified _**Pharmacy Dispenser**_. Full time (up to 40 hours) and part time positions will be considered. This role would suit newly qualified apprentice dispensers or those with lots of experience and looking for a new challenge. No day will be the same and you will play a pivotal role in providing first class patient care. We are introducing new technologies and updating our pharmacies to give patients the best possible experience. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the smooth operation of our pharmacies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately dispense medications to patients based on prescriptions
- Serving customers on the pharmacy counter
- Dealing with patients requests for repeat medication
- Collaborate with all members of our teams
- Assist in ordering of drugs
- Play a role in new pharmacy services such as BP checks, smoking cessation, Pharmacy First, vaccinations
- Working as part of a family team

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a an accredited **NVQ2 Pharmacy Dispenser** or **NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician** program
- Proven experience in medication dispensing and patient care
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Effective communication skills to provide patient counseling and collaborate with healthcare professionals
