**Job Overview**
As Santa Claus at Toby Carvery Huddersfield, you will play a pivotal role in creating a magical and festive atmosphere for families during the holiday season. Your presence will bring joy and excitement to children and adults alike, as you embody the spirit of Christmas. This position requires a charismatic individual who can engage with guests, share stories, and create memorable experiences.

Responsible for staying seated from 8am to 11:30am in his Christmas area/grotto

Must wear the Santa Suit provided, including wig, hat, beard, glasses and boots so he looks the part

Greets every child and pays attention to the child's names on the “invitation” so that he can use their

name and make the occasion more special by personalizing their visit

Will be required to prepare a few lines beforehand (not scripted but a general idea of what is to be said) so that he is confident when the children start to come up and can interact with them.

Responsible for ensuring every child receives a piece of seasonal chocolate.

Responsible for ensuring every child receives an Activity Rucksack

Is prepared to be photographed with the child by the parent/guardian of the child(ren)

Will be required to work alongside other team members (elves/helpers) to ensure the event runs smoothly, particularly as the elves/helpers may have been given a prompt by parents/guests regarding the children, special requests etc

Keeps personal belongings in the team room out of sight, so they are not seen by children (and he is not seen using anything like a phone) as we don’t wish to spoil the magic surrounding Santa for any children

During periods of low activity, is welcoming to guests and bidding a #genuinegoodbye, #fondfarewell and Merry Christmas as appropriate

Any other reasonable request by management

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £8.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
