**Design Manager**
Pertemps are eagerly seeking a Design Manager to join our clients team based in Shawbury. This is a key role that carries a lot of responsibility not only in managing the design team and consultants, but also being always the face of the company, protectingits integrity and reputation.
**Responsibilities**_not limited to_
- Managing and ultimately responsible for all design information on any assigned projects, effectively managing the workload within the team ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensuring accurate information is produced in line with contract documents and construction methods.
- Working on projects throughout all RIBA stages; producing, checking, coordinating, and managing design outputs including (but not limited to); drawings, specifications, room data sheets and visuals.
- Ensuring that the resource capacity is monitored/updated weekly and reported to the Design Director/Head of design.
- Ensuring statutory regulation and planning compliance on all projects and report to the Design Director/Head of Design fortnightly.
- Ensuring that project design technicians are updating design project trackers (Design, Procurement, Survey, RDD & RFI) regularly and providing an update weekly.
- Attending site meetings across the UK, _may include overnight stays from time to time._
- Maintain positive and proactive relationships with client teams.
- Maintain open and transparent communication within the project team and other departments within the company.
- Being a key contributor towards ensuring that pre-construction programmes in relation to procurement and design are established and that they are realistic and in keeping with the overall project programme dates set.
- Adhere to the dates set out in procurement and design programmes.
- Will be able to work closely with the operations team to ensure optimum delivery of project, to the right quality, on time and to cost.
- Deliver high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
- Able to build and maintain professional working relationships internally and externally.

**Hours**Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00 Fri 08:30-15:45
**Salary**£43,400- £50,400 per annum
