**The Opportunity**
A Financial Reporting Manager is required for a large government body for a period of 3-6 months. This role will involve the provision of accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis of performance to date to meet
the needs of the organisation.
**The Role**
The Financial Reporting Manager will be required to:

- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting, quarterly management information and responsibility to ensure the Annual Report and Accounts, are prepared on time and to standard.
- To support system development which enables improved processes, assurance and data availability.
- Reconciliation of data between key systems, supporting assurance over reporting.
- Provision of information to relevant Finance Business partners to provide a comprehensive monthly financial reporting pack to Directors, covering performance against delivery budgets, operating costs budgets etc.

**The Person**
The Financial Reporting Manager will be:

- A qualified accountant or have significant relevant experience in financial reporting.
- Advanced data interrogation and analytical skills.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- A skilled communicator that enjoys negotiating and influencing.
- A visible leader.
- Sound commercial awareness to make informed decisions.
- This role can be hybrid 50/50.
