Job Overview:
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals in their homes, making a positive impact on their lives by helping them live as independently as possible. You will be working in a domiciliary care environment, delivering care services to the elderly, disabled, or those with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing assistance with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary requirements.
- Administering medication as per prescribed guidelines.
- Keeping accurate documentation of care plans and reporting any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to healthcare professionals.
- Assist in physical activities to help build mobility and coordination.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Providing assistance with light housekeeping and managing correspondence.

Skills and Qualifications:

- prepared to study for level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.
- Previous experience in a care role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple clients.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and a good listener.
- Resilient and able to deal with challenging situations.

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
