**The**Opportunity**:
Avantor is looking for a** Inventory Operative**to join our team at **Elstree, WD6 3BX** on a permanent basis. The working hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, however, we can offer some flexibility, so perhaps 6am - 2pm is more desirable for you. The position requires stock delivery across the site; therefore, **a driving licence is essential.**

A unique opportunity to be part of a Laboratory Services Solution, a highly value add service we offer to our customers. Delivering an efficient, accurate and reliable inventory service, consisting of a high number of different products, all used within our customers laboratories.

**The Team**

A small yet very important team of four inventory specialists work together to deliver a just in (JIT) time service to our customer, balancing stock levels whilst ensuring replenishment does not delay the critical work conducted at this large site of approximately 1000 employees.

**What we are looking for**
- Inventory / stock experience (the industry is flexible)
- Warehouse or stores experience, together with picking, packing and stock replenishment
- Communication skills should be a high standard, both written and spoken
- Team player, we encourage great teamwork, and achieve more together
- Computer - confident skills with Microsoft office and Inventory/Warehouse Management Systems

**How you will thrive and create an impact**
- Manage daily goods-in, ensuring quality control process are compliant
- Build daily replenishment runs for site distribution
- Process stock orders on the inventory management system
- On—site parcel distribution using company vehicle
- Compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedure (GMP), which includes records are kept in accordance with guidelines
